Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. About Eric Kempson
The multi-talented Eric Kempson was born in Hampshire, England in 1955, and was brought up and educated in Winchester. His early career encompassed animal keeping, working with big cats and baboons in safari parks in England and Italy, estate management, and large-scale landscape design. In 1999 he moved to Molyvos, Lesvos, Greece, with his wife and baby daughter. He now devotes himself to his painting, and to sculpture in the local olive wood:- over the years he has perfected his own techniques for working this notoriously difficult material. His influences range from Ancient Greek and Old English mythology to twentieth century Surrealism, but for his sculptures he derives his main inspiration from the grain, texture, and shape of...
